A circular route that takes in areas of coastline and Gower lanes.

We set off to Mumbles along the Swansea Bay cyclepath. From there we then join the road, and cycle a mixture of A, B and unclassified roads to Pennard and Southgate, before returning via the B4436 and A4118 to the Wildflower cafe, where we will stop for refreshments. From there we continue on an unclassified road, before joining the A4118 again. We drop down to the Railway Inn, where we will then join the Clyne Valley cycle track to return to Blackpill.

We will stop for refreshments at the Wildflower café, Blackhills, and stop as necessary for a breather and to ensure that we keep together as a group..

Riders are advised to wear cycle helmets, carry a pump and spare inner tube, and have clothing appropriate for the weather. Please bring money for any refreshments that you will require, and any snacks that you might require prior to the coffee stop..

This route includes a number of hills, and sections on A roads, so is more suited to cyclists with some experience of riding on the road. Don't be put off by the hills they are all managable, and we don't leave anyone behind. Road bikes, hybrids with road tyres, and e bikes all welcome.
