Birmingham and Solihull Explorer ride - Blossom trail to Pershore

This is one of our relatively new monthly Explorer rides where we explore areas a bit further afield by travelling to our startpoint (road or rail) and then cycle at quite a leisurely pace (9-10mph) between 20-40 miles. This week's ride starts from Moor St Station where we take the 9.39 train to Droitwich Spa Alternatives are to get on at any station en route (eg Yardley Wood @ 9.24) or drive and park for free on Newland Rd in Droitwich (by No 67 - WR9 7AG) . Meetup at station at 10.40 am or 1.7 miles into ride on Newlands Rd at 10.55. We'll then take country lanes on a fabulous "blossom" circular tour through several Worcestershire villages en route to Pershore where we'll have a refreshment/lunch stop by the river. Bring a picnic or buy at adjacent café. After a leisurely lunch we'll cycle back to Droitwich where we plan to catch the 16.22 train back. Helmets are recommended but not compulsory. Please bring a drink and food, plus a spare inner tube, lights and cash for train ticket and for any refreshments you want to buy.
