Sankey Valley canal trail all the way to Spike Island for lunch if the weather is dry , if not we will go as far as The Ferry Tavern due to the path further on gets muddy .
Please make sure you can ride the distance of the ride , we try to ride at between 9/11 mph depending on terrain .
Experience some of the stunning views through the old Sankey Canal route .

This is an old favourite of the FCs Satdy Club , with a new start point as the car park we used to use charges now , it put a couple of extra miles on and a bit more climbing .

some roads but mainly canal paths that are made up of compacted shale so paths are very smooth .
