Bikes, Flowers & Cakes - 10 miles

Join me on a Breeze ride with a difference - it ends in a visit to a Gold award winning Frome in Bloom garden (also features in the NGS gardens) where you will be treated to tea & cake. This 10 mile ride starts on the Critchill estate in Frome & uses quiet country lanes, roads & cycle paths out to Nunney, Trudoxhill, Tytherington, Blatchbridge & then returning to Frome. There is on-road parking near the start point. The route is undulating with a couple of hills. We will ride at a sociable pace, sticking together as a group (the maximum number of riders is 8 plus a Breeze Champion). The average pace is usually 10 - 12 mph No-one will be left behind & the route is suitable for all types of bikes with gears. Please make sure that your bike is in a rideable condition & that you have pumped up your tyres. A helmet is advisable but not compulsory. Please remember to bring a puncture repair kit & pump with you, a drink & a snack & suitable clothing for the weather conditions Most importantly please bring some money. This is a fundraising ride for one of the regular Breeze riders who is raising money for MacMillan Cancer Care by participating in a charity ride in Vietnam & Cambodia. It is her parents who are letting us use their garden & providing the teas.
