Bike Shed to Solar System

Our starting point is the newly opened (Sat 9th November) 'Your Bike Shed', a new cycle themed cafe and bike workshop located at the top of Micklegate bar, just inside the bar walls. The cafe and workshop is run by Adele and Martin, who are happy to warmly welcome us, and  have even provided a free coffee voucher for all ride attendees! We'll meet at the Bike Shed cafe for 10am ride departure and ride down to the riverside cycle path and out through the racecourse onto the Solar System cycle path. At our chosen planet, after 45 minutes of cycling - how far we get will be dependent upon our pace and the weather - we'll re-trace our steps back to the cafe. I've set this ride as 90 minutes of cycling at a steady pace, expecting to cover around 8 miles each way, so about 12mph pace on average, but it will depend upon weather and pace of those attending. As with all Breeze rides, the aim is to enjoy a social ride out together, making new friends and feeling good about getting out on our bikes in the fresh air. Please wear/bring waterproofs just in case though! There are indoor and outdoor cycle racks back at the Bike Shed, so we can secure our bikes while we have a look around this cool new place and enjoy a coffee on the house, along with any food you might like to try out.  See their website for details of whats on offer: http://www.yourbikeshed.co.uk Look forward to seeing you all!
