Big Pink Bike Ride!

“During October we’re highlighting Breast Cancer awareness through our Breeze rides. If you are affected by breast cancer please visit one of the following websites for more information. www.nhs.co.uk www.breastcancercare.org.uk www.breastcancernow.org www.macmillan.org.uk This mainly level ride follows the Bridgewater Canal into one of the most picturesque towns in the outskirts of Manchester, with timber framed houses and two busy marinas along our route, there is always something to look at and admire. There will be chance for a bite to eat before heading back using Route 55 of the National Cycling Network which follows a disused railway line and leads us to the Guided Busway cycle path. This really is a great off-road ride that will make you feel like you are nowhere near one of the biggest cities in the north. Please note if heavy rain has persisted the trail will be muddy (and therefore lots more fun) so be advised to bring appropriate attire.
