Big Green Ride

We'll leave Harborough via Alvington Way then pass the prison on our way into Gumley. There's a hill as we come into Gumley so we'll probably stop and push our bikes up - it's all good exercise and we'll be able to admire the lovely view across the fields to the locks. We then take the back road into Kibworth, passing through Smeeton Westerby. In Kibworth we cross the A6 on foot and cycle the scenic country road into Tur Langton. Having recovered and fortified ourselves it's largely down hill to Cranoe where we'll turn left and continue downhill to Welham. From there it's an easy spin back to Great Bowden and Market Harborough.
