A flat route for most part that parallels historic waterways and passes Fiddlers Ferry Power Station. Excellent riding away from all traffic with views across the Mersey estuary to Halton Castle and Watertower. 2

A slight climb to cross the River Mersey via Widnes/Runcorn 'Jubilee Bridge' The return ride is on the the same paths and trails for the outward leg.
The Cafe is a great place for a coffee and chat with your fellow riders. We always receive a warm welcome. Bikes can be lock to railing in front of the cafe windows.

Join us, on a lovely flat ride along Sankey Valley and the Trans-Pennine Trail to The Brindley Arts complex on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal in Runcorn. A steady-paced social ride

A mostly Traffic-free route along cycle paths and trails. We cross the River Mersey on the dedicated cycle lane and remain away from traffic throughout..

Plenty of points along the way to take photographs of the scenery and wildlife.

Helmets are mandatory for all riders under 18 and recommended for all people taking part. Please bring suitable clothing to reflect the weather. Gloves are recommended and waterproofs just in case we encounter rain. A basic tool kit, puncture outfit, spare inner tube or tyre sealant Mobile phone, money or cards if purchasing any refreshments. Water bottle for hydration. Cycle lock
