This ride is part of the East Yorkshire Walking and Outdoor Festival.
Today’s flat route, ideal for improvers, will take us towards Brandesburton. A coffee stop at the 10th cafe on the way back. Please arrive by 9.55 ready to go at 10.
We ride as a group, slowest rider’s pace, no one is left behind.
A helmet is advisable. Please ensure your bike is in full working order and your tyres are inflated to the correct level, as this will make for easier riding.
Please make sure you have a spare inner tube, tools for your bike, tyre levers, a pump just in case of a puncture, a water bottle to keep hydrated, front and back working lights, a bell and money for the cafe stop. Mudguards if wet to keep you and the group dry.
The routes are mainly on quiet roads and cycle paths.
Please have a means of getting home if you have a mechanical we cannot fix - someone at home, a taxi to take you and your bike home or a recovery company like ETA. We’ll stay with you until you’re rescued.
