‘Challenging’ rides are for those who can ride 30+ miles at 12+ mph, on average comfortably and who are confident, competent group riders.
Although less miles today, this route is Challenging as the route has hills, including Trundlegate.

We keep the group together at all times, slowest rider’s pace, no one is left behind.
A helmet is advisable. Please ensure your bike is in full working order and your tyres are inflated to the correct level, as this will make for easier riding.
Please have a spare tube, tyre levers, a pump, any tools you need for your bike, a water bottle to keep hydrated, a snack, front and back working LIGHTS on flashing mode, a BELL and FULL mudguards please in wet weather to keep you and the group dry.
The routes are mainly on quiet roads and cycle paths.
Please have in place a means of getting home just in case you have a mechanical we cannot fix, someone at home to pick you up, a taxi that can transport you and your bike or a bike recovery company like ETA.
