Beverley Breezers - ‘Challenging’ Driffield Bike Festival

Route to the Bike Festival, Driffield. This is a Challenging ride 12+ mph on average. The ride can start at 9 so we can make a day of it or we can go later. We might be helping out at the festival, enjoying everything there and cycling back late afternoon.
There’s a Code Breaker Trail route we can try if you fancy. Take a map, collect the letters on the smile bike locks as you ride the route, and crack the code to receive your ‘goody bag’ back at the festival on the Showground.
All our rides are slowest rider’s pace, no one is left behind. Everyone rides comfortably but please make sure you can keep the pace of the ride.
Please wear a HELMET and ensure your bike is in FULL working order and your tyres are inflated to the correct level, as this will make for easier riding.
Please have a spare tube, tyre levers, a pump, any tools you need for your bike, a water bottle to keep hydrated, a snack, front and back working LIGHTS (flashing mode), a bike lock, a BELL and FULL mudguards please, for wet weather, to keep you and the group dry.
The routes are mainly on quiet roads and cycle paths.
Please have in place a means of getting home just in case you have a mechanical we cannot fix, someone at home to pick you up, a taxi that can transport you and your bike or a bike recovery company like ETA. We’ll stay with you until you can be rescued.
