Bestwood Country Park to Newstead Abbey

Meeting at Bestwood Country Park we will head out towards the Mill Lakes, taking us out onto Wigwam Lane up into Hucknall.
Onto Papplewick Lane using the (NCN 6) out onto Waterloo Rd/Main street before picking up the Linby Trail, all off road into the grounds of Newstead Abbey with some lovely scenary. This is an out and back steady ride.

Steady ride from Bestwood Country Park to Newstead Abbey

Heading out from Bestwood Village we will be using some of the NCN route 6 on B roads through Hucknall and onto the Lindy Trail (all off road for this part) down into the grounds of Newstead Abbey.

Stopping at Newstead Abbey coffee shop for a little break.

Helmet, spare inner tube/repair, appropriate clothing for the ride on the day. Money if you would like a well earned break at Newstead Abbey or snacks of your own.
