We leave ten pin head west towards the dearne valley bridleway cut off towards the woodfield plantation head towards Balby we head towards the TPT at Warmsworth above the south bank of the river Don . We then follow the TPT all the way to our cafe stop at the wonderful cafe Boston &co at Bentley via some new trails in sprotbrough and cusworth . After our break at the cafe we go towards the pit stack at Bentley old colliery site , we head towards the beautiful village of arksey passing through shaftholme . We head across some lovely countryside and beautiful woodland on ings lane bringing us into the magnificent Barnby Dunn we ride along the lovely canal towpath towards Kirk Sandall . We head through edenthorpe into the magnificent woodland area of shaw wood . We circle back round to ten pin bowling car park taking In armthorpe pit stack and the beautiful woodland of sandall beat woods going across cantley park into rose hill cemetery woods crossing bawtry road going around the dome leisure center back to ten pin .
Some beautiful bridleways some housing estate roads some farm trails and TPT , reclaimed nature reserves around old former colliery sites. Old railway trails . Canal towpaths . Woodland trails .
We stop at the Boston & co cafe at the Bentley pavilion. We can stop for for photo opportunities along the way and on the way back
Helmets are advisable, bring bike lights as we experience shorter days and light may become limited, bring spare inner tubes and tools and pump to fix a puncture. Liquid refreshment and any snacks. Money/ card for purchases made at the cafe .
