This is a great opportunity to enjoy a 6 mile RIDE STEADY ride close to and convenient for the centre of Hemel Hempstead. The ride starts from Belswains Playing Field and follows quiet roads and cycle paths around Bennetts End and Leverstock Green passing 10 local schools on the route. The route is fairly flat and is perfect for younger cyclists who want to gain confidence and experience on a longer ride.  It may open up the joys of cycling to school for pupils of any of the schools in the area! If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
