This is a challenging but scenic route

We will meet in the gardens car park for an 1030am start. Please ensure your bike is roadworthy. This ride is a mixture of roads and rough forest track so please ensure your bike is suited to this terrain. Please wear a well fitting, in date helmet and warm, waterproof clothing. Snacks and hydration are a good idea too. This route does have climbing in it so a degree of bike fitness is required. We will leave Benmore Gardens and head towards Winston Churchills which will bring us out onto the main road at Glen Kin. We will then follow the residents road up to the hamlet and carry on past the farm to the 2 small river crossings. You may get wet feet here or if there has been a lot of rain or if the fallen trees are still down we will just do an out and back! We carry on with the track and it eventually loops round and brings us back to the main road where we will retrace our route back to Benmore. This is about 13 miles and should take around 2 hours.

We can stop for breathers and photos, noone will get left behind!
