Join us for a sociable ride around the Belhus Woods Country Park. We’ll do a quick bike check and warm up before setting off. All abilities welcome, whether you ride to work or haven't exercised in years just come along and have some fun and meet new friends. We’ll take the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind and if we encounter a small incline we can get off our bikes and walk. We’ll make a circuit passing the model boat club and fishing lake but nothing too taxing! We will stop halfway at the visitor centre where there is a cafe and picnic area for a rest and a chat! Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too! Please bring a drink of water, snack and some money. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Children are welcome; however adults are responsible for the wellbeing of their own child. Children under eighteen must wear a helmet to take part in the ride. We recommend helmets for adults, but they’re not compulsory. Don’t worry if you don’t have a helmet – why not try a couple of rides and see how you get on?   Look forward to seeing you there!
