The ride is ideal for those wanting to get used to their bike again. The route is short and flat with just one section of road riding, on the cul-de-sac between Witton and Brookvale parks. The route is tarmaced throughout so ideal for all kinds of cycles: hybrid, mountain and road.
Riders are advised to wear helmets, dress for the weather and bring cash for tea and biscuits at the EcoHub at the end of the ride. Spare inner tube and lock would also be useful.
The EcoHub has a couple of bicycles available for riders to borrow. If you wish to borrow a bike please call 0121 227 3200 between 10 am and 2pm Monday to Wednesday to reserve your bike. They will be issued on a first come first served basis.
