Starting from - We will meet outside the historic Max Gate. There is free parking on the residential roads around here, but no public toilets. Max Gate is a short walk or cycle from Dorchester South railway station and is on the cycle path that leads out of Dorchester from Lucetta Lane (next to St. Mary's Catholic First School). DT1 2FN

Taking the quiet country lanes of NCN2, we head along tree-lined roads to Moreton, passing through the villages of West Stafford and Woodsford.

When we get to Moreton we will head for the Dovecote cafe in the Walled Garden. After a pause and a cuppa, we will then head back to Dorchester the way we came.
