This Girl Can - Beginners Breeze Ride Workington

For women who are just getting into cycling, or returning to cycling after a break. As long as you can ride a bike, this is suitable for you.

This is an excellent introduction to Breeze Bike Rides for women. We ride as a social group, it is not competitive and the main focus is on having a good time. We will encourage you and can offer advice as well, and we absolutely never leave anyone behind. The slowest rider sets the pace.

This is a traffic free ride entirely on the cycle path, it is a nice flat route and we will just ride out and back. The ride distance is a maximum of 5 miles, we may do less, this is something which will be flexible and dependent on the wishes of those riding on the day. You will need to wear a helmet for this ride, and it is recommended that you bring a spare inner tube for your bike (just in case). If you aren’t sure which inner tube you need, just let me know, I can sort this for you. Other than that you need only bring yourself and your bike. Please note, we will do a quick check before starting, to ensure your bike is in a ride-worthy condition.
