Beach Cafe Via Tram Bridge

From the start point we will join NCN 55 at Bamber Bridge and follow it along the former route of the railway line past the old Preston Junction, and then join up with the Old Tram Road, across the new Tram Bridge, follow the River Ribble to Preston docks and pause for ice cream, refreshments, and so on.

A 3/4 lap of the docks follows before retracing our tracks until we gain the south side of the river across the new Tram Bridge again, and then across Winnery Lane, up Hennel Lane, and back to the start via more shared paths and leafy woodland.

A shortish route, with 1 punchy climb, this is suitable for all ages.
