B&DCC Rapha Womens 100

The Rapha Women’s 100 is a celebration of the cycling community and collective spirit among female riders across the globe. On 14th September 2019, women all over the world will ride 100 kilometres in one day, making lasting memories, forging new friendships and inspiring each other to achieve a collective goal. More than 10,000 women took part last year, and we would love to see even more women out on the roads this year. Bolsover and District Cycling Club invites you to join our 100km ride, with experienced club rider Jay Stocks at the helm. All riders are welcome, not just women. THIS IS A ROAD BIKE RIDE and is NOT SUITABLE for hybrid or gravel bikes. The ride will depart at 09:00 from the cenotaph in Bolsover, S446PN. There will be a food and drink stop en route but all riders should bring water or energy drinks and high calorie snacks to sustain them for the full 100km. Helmets must be worn and all riders must be self-sufficient, carrying a spare inner tube, a jacket, a mobile phone and some money. The ride will move at a steady social pace and riders should be confident to pedal for 5 hours. We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly group.
