Starting point

London
HA5 3FG

Please note that the ride begins at 9am. This route takes us south from Pinner via the beaver enclosure in Greenford, where beavers are creating a new wetland. We won't see them, as they are very shy! We ride to Brentford via the cycle track on Boston Manor road to join the A4, where we follow the cycle path to Gunnersbury Park for refreshments in the new cafe.

The British Cycle Quest question is: 'Between the Gunnersbury Museum and Small Mansion on the Terrace side is a pedimented arch with a commemorative plaque on each wall. Who is the MP named on them?' BCQ is a fun way to explore the area, finding clues in interesting places. You can register your answers via https://www.cyclinguk.org/british-cycle-quest

We return via Ealing Broadway and Cycleway 40 to cross the A40 at Perivale, and return to Pinner via South Harrrow. Don't forget to bring water and maybe a snack; card and bike lock for the cafe stop.
