We meet at 6.20 for a 6.30 start on the gravel 'island' at the end of Widcombe Parade (actually Claverton St) - opposite the footbridge over the River behind the Railway Station. If you are coming by car there is parking nearby in Widombe

We ride for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, about 40km. Social pace (ie. we're happy to stop, wait and re-group at the top of the climbs). We use the network of fantastic trails around Bath, some are technical (roots, rocks, streams etc). You should bring: A helmet, an off-road capable bike, a spare tube, a bottle, some food and a fiver (for the optional pub stop at the end). You'll need to be reasonably fit (capable of riding off road) but we always welcome beginners. The first ride of the month is officially known as the 'Cheesy Easy' ride if you are not sure. These are NOT Club rides but some of us belong to the local clubs (VC Walcot, Bath CC and the Black Canon Collective). Rides are led by an experienced Ride Leader.
