Starting point

BA15 1LE

Bradford On Avon Lock Inn, by the entrance.

A lovely ride along the Kennet & Avon Canal crossing 2 aquaducts and eventually leaving the towpath at Dundas.  We will then cycle through the pretty village of Monkton Combe to join the 2 tunnels path.  The path then takes us past a great view of Midford Castle and through the newly opened Combe Down and Devonshire Tunnels to Bear Flat.  There are shops and a pub at Bear Flat for a quick break before returning on the same path to Bradford On Avon. You will need a bike that is in good working order and equipment to fix a puncture should you need to. If you haven’t had your bike out for ages it's a good idea to get it checked over at a bike shop. Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
