Meet in the middle of the Roundabout that's just down from the station. A few undulations at the start out of Basingstoke through Popley and Charter Alley and towards the finish but a lovely downhill middle section to Bramley from Silchester in the middle, what goes up must come down! Note it is only described as "Challenging" automatically as it is over 20 miles. This has less climbing that other 'hilly' rides though as you can see is not flat the outskirts of Basingstoke are not. Looking to do around 11mph to get back in 2 hours give or take so we'll aim to start promptly - yes me too (Ruth) so let us know if you are running last minute or unable to make it. Mountain bikes welcome if you know you're comfortable at this sort of pace/ distance on it. Please put lights on your bikes in case there are any delays, and remember it can get chilly when the sun goes down (assuming it's out in the first place!) so maybe bring a spare layer. Any queries [email protected] facebook.com/breezingstoke twitter @breezingstoke Cheers, Ruth
