A quite route just under 10 miles taking your out through Old Basing to Mapledurwell and a loop back via the Millstone pub. This is an steady Group ride which is part of Breeze Network Basingstokes 2015 group rides. We will aim for between an hour and 1 hour 15 mins plus 15 mins for a break but will wait for the last rider. There will be three levels of rides to cater for all ladies in and around Basingstoke. There is an entry level ride, a 20 mile ride for the more experienced, and this one is 10 miles steady for those in the middle! If you are unsure which is suitable for you, get in touch! Whether you are looking to get fitter, just want some fresh air and to improve your wellbeing, would like to start riding on the roads, or would like to meet like-minded ladies on their bikes, then this is a chance for you to kickstart your 2015 riding with a friendly group of ladies. The three levels of ride on 29th March will all start and finish at the Eastrop Park Bandstand, and after the ride the three groups will aim to meet up for a coffee stop at Bartons Mill Old Basing so we can all meet each other for a chat and talk cycling. Breeze is a ladies only network of cyclists of all abilities who just love to get out with others and ride their bikes. We welcome riders of all abilities! Hope to see you at Eastrop Park with your bike (any type, in working order!), and clothing that you are comfortable in but won't get caught up in your pedals etc! It is your choice whether you wear a helmet or not - we will be on quiet roads as well as cycle paths, and do recommend it. I look forward to meeting you and if you have any questions just Follow ‘Breeze Network Basingstoke’ on Facebook, or twitter @breezingstoke or email [email protected] send us your questions and we will get back to you!
