Join us if you can for a first 'evening' (almost!) ride to Steventon from Down Grange to celebrate International Women's day. I appreciate several will be unable to make this earlyish start but we've not got enough light yet for later... soon though!
Did you know that Jane Austen was born and lived in Steventon, daughter of the rector?
We will leave Down Grange via Pack Lane through Oakley then on to Steventon and back via North Waltham and retrace our steps.
Fairly flat by Basingstoke standards!
We are aiming to do around 11/12 mph. You will need lights as we may be coming back in sunset (fingers crossed we see one!) and in case of any delays. Please also bring/wear enough clothes for when the temperature drops as the sun goes down.
As soon as the clocks go back evening rides proper will start - but if you can make this, it would be great to see you and chat about what evenings might be good.
Mountain bikes welcome if you know you can safely ride at this speed.
