Basingstoke: Cycle to work day!

It's cycle to work day and to go with the theme, we'll take a route using mainly cycle paths and quiet roads, to illustrate how you can cycle to key destinations in Basingstoke. This is likely to include Basingstoke railway station, John Lewis/Basing View, town centre parks, top of town, schools, colleges and more. Ride will be steady and around 12 miles max, which comes sooner and we will adapt to the pace of the group. Come along for a social ride, or to find new routes. Route will be decided nearer the time, and take into any account any requests received on the Breeze Network Basingstoke Facebook page. You'll be able to ride all on a road bike if that is what you have, though a few short bits will be a bit bumpy. Optional drinks stop after depending on weather etc. Please bring lights as it is likely to be dusky towards the end and we may be on road sections where lights are a legal requirement. If you're not sure what sort of lights you need, just make sure you have some cheap ones to make you legal for now and ask us for recommendations.
