Basingstoke: Brookvale to Winklebury loop

Breeze Bike Rides in Basingstoke and Deane **Suit those fairly new to us wanting to try a little road riding but mostly cycle paths. * * This is a good starter ride with us if you've mastered the basics of bike riding and are happy to ride for just over an hour with some stops. Please do come a bit early so we have time for introductions etc before setting off. Hopefully to encourage some new ladies and show some local short routes that help you get around within Basingstoke and are suitable for building fitness and practising technique. You can bring any bike that’s in good working order – make sure your tyres are well inflated. Bring a spare inner tube (if you’re not sure what size you need - check the tyre size / markings then ask at a bike shop) It’s best to wear layers – it can get chilly in the evening. Preferably bring lights We will head on the cycle path parallel to Churchill Way, up past the waterworks to Houndmills, then along Winklebury Way and cross Worting Road by the railway bridge. Continue past Buckskin then return via the Leisure Park and Brookvale.
