Join us on a ride around Rabbit Ings! This little gem of a ride starts in the village of Royston and reveals the hidden work of 2 charities, Sustrans and The Land Trust in the shape of the Trans Pennine Trail and Rabbit Ings Country Park.On the site of the former Monkton Colliery, woodland, heathland and grassland habitats have been createdwith various information points. Cycle tracks have been added to allow a circuit to the summit of the spoil site offering fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. Just a short section of road needs to be navigated between the pretty paths around Royston park and the newly created Country Park. Come and try it-you won't be disappointed!
