Starting point
Meet 15 minutes before departure time in the Costa Coffee car park, Town End Barnsley. Rides depart promptly at 9:00 am (April and Sept) or 8:30 am (May, June, July, August)
Our welcome rides are a great opportunity for cyclists who have started to ride to work or at the weekend and are looking to step up and do a little more. The rides will be around 30-35 miles long, at a leisurely pace and include a café stop at either Nostell or Sprotbrough
A road bike or hybrid is recommended to let you get the most out of these rides. Pace will be a comfortable, around 12mph, and experienced Club riders will be on hand to support and encourage anyone who wishes to take part.
