Barmby Moor Village Hall car park Chapel Street

This is not for the feint hearted and is a CHALLENGE ride for those who would like to tackle some hills. It is only 9 miles but We will head down Keldspring to Yapham Mill,Yapham an on towards Meltonby and Bishop Wilton. The first hill is from the Bishop Wilton Rd up to Givendale. This is a hard climb but what an achievement when you get to the top. No shame in getting off to push if you find it too hard so as long as you have grit and determination you will get there. We then turn left at the top and after a little pull we have a lovely long descent with beautiful scenery to the bottom before we tackle Peak 2. This is a much shorter and easier one up to Millington . We then turn right in the village for another descent before our final climb Peak 3 and then it's all downhill past the KP Golf club back to Pocklington and on to Barmby Moor. Please wear high vis so we can be seen and please have lights in case of a murky night.A helmet is advisable and make sure you have a water bottle and a few pennies in case of a refreshment stop. Give me a ring if you want any more information. If you book and have to cancel please do it on line and if it is on the day please text me as once full no other riders can book on and some have been disappointed. Look forward to seeing you Val 07703134034
