Barclays Cycle Hire 4th Birthday Breeze Ride

It’s birthday celebration time for Barclays Cycle Hire in London – and we’ve teamed up with Transport for London (TfL) to help mark the occasion. On the weekend of August 16th and 17th, TfL is celebrating Barclays Cycle Hire’s 4th birthday by providing free Cycle Hire bikes so you can ride our From Parks to the Pirates route without spending a single penny. All you have to do to get your free hire bike is register with us for the ride, (completely free!), and collect a bike from the Longford Street docking station near Regent’s Park on the morning of the ride, on Sunday, August 17th. Join us on this lovely ride starting on Regents Park's Broadwalk and crossing over onto Regents Canal Towpath. The route travels between the enclosures of London Zoo as far as the houseboats at St Johns Wood before we visit Camden Market. Along with all the wonderful sights, there is plenty of time to enjoy a drink and some cake. * Please note this ride is exclusively for Barclays Cycle Hire users. The bikes will be provided free of charge for the ride for all registered participants. You must be aged 14 or over to use a Barclays Cycle Hire bike, and you’ll need to sign a disclaimer with TfL when you collect the bike. Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before the ride in order to collect your bike in sufficient time for the ride to start on time at 9am.
