So warm dry weather is forecast for the weekend so if you are not away for the Bank Holiday why not join me for a steady ride out to the farm shop at Cholderton. At almost 20 miles this is one of our flattest rides, so no major hills, although a few gradual undulations.....It will be ridden at a steady pace to suit all riders.

Leaving Charlton we will head out towards Penton Mewsey, Appleshaw, Fyfield, Thruxton and on to Cholderton for our coffee stop. This is a road ride, mostly on country roads, but there is a small busier patch where we will stay together as a group so that we all feel safe. After coffee we return via Quarley and Grately, back to town and Charlton where we started from.

All you need to join us is a bike in good working order, brakes and gears. A helmet is compulsory for all of our rides. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and snacks for a couple of hours riding. And of course a little money for our coffee stop.

We recommend a spare inner tube that fits your bike, along with a pump and tyre levers. Don't worry if you can't fix a puncture we all muck in and we leave no-one behind.

First timers are always welcome.
