This is a challenging route due to the slopes we will be tackling. From our start point we head up to Slateford Road and up Lanark Road until we join the Water of Leith Path to get to Balerno. We will then head up to Harlaw Reservoir with a chance to cycle round the reservoir before descending back down to Balerno and our cafe stop. From there we will rejoin Lanark road for a short stretch before taking back roads to Long Dalmahoy Road and Heriot Watt University. From there we will make our way back either on the canal and tram path or via Gogarburn & Gyle Park.

Another training ride with some slopes but worth it for the views at the top!

We will cycle on Lanark Road, water of leith path and quiet roads so a mix of everything

We will stop at the cafe adjacent to the Rugby Club in Balerno

Bring card payment if you wish to purchase anything at our cafe stop. Bring plenty of water and a snack if you feel you might need it before or after the slopes

We never leave anyone behind
