About the route
Starting point
Meet at 9.45 on road outside Village Hall in Ashford Carbonell for the usual bike checks etc ready to set off at 10am.
Setting off from Ashford Carbonell we will cross the A49 to pick up a back lane with scenic views across the valley and wind our way along the base of the escarpement, before joining the B4361 for a short while and then taking the lane to Yarpole. Here we will stop for refreshments in the excellent gallery cafe in Yarpole Church, which also doubles as a Community Centre and includes a great little local produce shop. We will return via the same route.
