Away Day to Monsal trail

A nice and easy flattish cycle path, no motorised traffic and no junctions! A perfect ride for anyone just getting back into riding.

A trip out to see the wonderful Monsal trail and the fabulous tunnels. It will be a there and back route. No road or traffic, except other people.

Monsal trail is an disused railway line, now used as a footpath, cycle way and bridle path.

As it is a short ride there will be lots of time stops and photos.

As always I recommend wearing a cycle helmet. Puncture repair kit and tools to fit your bike,a spare inner tube makes fixing punctures quicker. A drink and suitable clothing for the weather on the day.
