Starting from - Avenham Park cafe. Toilets available. Free parking adjacent to Avenham Park. West or East with easy cycle to start point.
You will need a roadworthy bike, an approved helmet ( EEC/ BSI).Drinks and optional sun protection. Recommended- a spare innertube to suit your bike wheel size/valve. Cafe at start and halfway stop. More snacks?

Start at Avenham Park, Guild Wheel route to UCLAN. Thence Canal to Roots (with option to divert to Country lanes) Return on local lanes to connect with Edith Rigby cycleway and Guild Wheel to start. All except lanes as described is on traffic free cycleway. Stop for optional refreshment at Roots and elsewhere as requested.
