A mix of Guild Wheel, Ashton Park and connecting road to UCLAN. Then Lancaster Canal towpath to Roots . Short spell on minor road to Edith Rigby Cycleway onto the Guild Wheel back to Avenham.

Explore the beautiful views West of Preston along the Lancaster Canal to Roots cafe. Return along the elevated Edith Rigby Cycleway (named after the daring female Preston cyclist and suffragette).

As far as possible traffic free Cycleway connected by minor roads where necessary.

As requested on route for a breather, a drink or a photo? Planned stop at Roots cafe.

Helmets for all on this Ribble Valley Juniors led ride please. Drinks. Snacks? Clothing to suit the Lancashire weather. Pocketable Bike Tools and an innertube to suit your wheel size ideally.
