Starting point

CH66 6AD

Hooton Station CH66 6AD

We will ride along the Wirral Way past the lovely old Hadlow Road Station and on to Neston, across Burton Marshes (hoping to see some migrating birds) along the Dee and into Chester where we will stop for lunch at a café by the river. Then a shorter route back by the canal and Route 56 aiming to get back to Hooton by 3pm. The route is mainly on good off road tracks and quiet lanes. It may be muddy in parts along the Wirral Way and some of the canal path is quite rough – so hybrid bikes are your best bet for the day! The autumn colours are looking fab at the moment and hopefully will last into November for our ride.
