About the route
From Askham ride towards Helton before climbing up to the bridleway towards the Cockpit.
Enjoy the Cockpit descent before reaching the banks of Ullswater. Ride alongside Ullswater to Pooley Bridge for an ice-cream.
From Pooley Bridge climb up a bridleway with lovely views before enjoying a grassy descent back to Askham.
