A fantastic circular route around northern parts of Doncaster

We leave ten pin bowling complex we head north towards the Roman ridge towards woodlands , we follow some lovely bridleways across to bughwallis then across thru some lovely woodland areas across to the lovely village of owston . We then go on some country roads to Sutton via the magnificent reclaimed pit top of th old Askern colliery site . We then have out much needed pit stop at the lakeside cafe. Our journey back takes in some beautiful villages and following the TPT and greenway back through the city and some woodland back to ten pin

Helmets are advisable, bring liquids , tools to repair a puncture and spar inner tubes etc bike tyre pump, lights etc
