Askern Café from Dunsville

Meeting at 10:15am and ride departing at 10:30am. The ride is just short of 20 miles with a Cafe stop at around the 10 mile mark. The route heads from Dunsville out to stainforth and along quiet lanes to Askern and the Boating lake Café. Once suitably refreshed we will continue through Askern and Sutton again onto quiet lanes across to Barnby dun where we will pick up Hatfield lane across to Quarry Park and our start point. Rest stops can be taken as often as anyone needs and we always ride to the pace of our slowest participants. Make sure you wear your helmet (this is compulsory, if you have no helmet you won’t be able to ride with us) and appropriate clothing for the weather (if you have any bright or hi-viz then wear that). As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Don’t forget too to bring money for refreshments and a mobile 'phone.
