(0) ReviewsWe will visit several artists exhibiting (and selling) their work in their own studios as part of Harrow Open Studios (https://www.harrowopenstudios.com/) at various locations in the guide: studio 8, 9, 10, then studios 1-3 at Harrow Arts Centre, then studio 11 at The Stables (which has several artists sharing the space), then studio 12. So we will stop often! Paintings, woodturning, ceramics, shark teeth…there’ll be something for everyone. There’s no obligation at all to purchase, but you might like to snap up a postcard or similar that’ll fit in your bike bag. We’ll probably go inside a few at a time, with those outside guarding our bikes.
This is an easy-paced, flat ride, starting at the Seva cafe in Harrow Recreation Ground and ending at the Moat Cafe in Headstone Manor Park. We'll use quiet local roads and parks except for crossing the Uxbridge Road, which we'll probably do on foot.
We’ll stop for tea either at The Stables (often free snacks and drinks), or at the friendly Parklife cafe in Boxtree Park.
Check your bike before the ride, especially tyre pressure and brakes. Bring a spare innertube (check it's the correct size), a pump and tools to repair a puncture. Bring some money for possible purchases and for tea.
We never leave anyone behind
