Art House Ride

Extraordinary Art in Ordinary Houses. This fascinating ride, which lasts between three and a half to four hours, is associated with the Building Cycling Cultures conference and the annual Leicester "Art House" event.  The ride visits several houses and galleries displaying art and pottery.  See http://www.art-house.org.uk/ and http://www.uel-smg.org.uk/buildingcyclingcultures/ for more information. Art House 8th Annual Art Exhibition - Sat 7th, Sun 8th June (11-6pm), and Monday 9th June (3-9pm). Art House is an annual exhibition of over 40 very talented local artists in 11 individual houses in the Clarendon Park and Stoneygate areas of Leicester.  This is a wonderful opportunity to see a variety of artists work in a variety of mediums in 11 exceptionally welcoming homes. On route you can stop at 'Tart House-putting the tea in Art House' where refreshments and home-made cakes will be available. The ride will facilitate the secure leaving of bikes whilst participants browse.
