Around the Mound and up Breeze Mount

After leaving St Mary's Park we arrive at Heaton Park, reputably the largest public park in Europe. Our route through the park winds along paths which takes us around Temple mound and past the parks notable sites. We also travel through the Western Pleasure grounds and Dell Gardens which are picturesque, lesser known areas. We exit the park through the Grand Lodge Entrance and complete the ride back into St. Mary's Park following climbing up to Breeze Mount. Sights of interest - Heaton Hall, Town Hall Colonnade, Papal Monument, The Temple. Cafe stop available at - Lakeside cafe and Ice Cream Parlour (1 mile and 3.5 miles), Stables cafe (2.5 miles) Car parking available at St Mary's Park.
