Around the Greenway

This is a circular, mostly off-road route starting and finishing in Stotfold.

The route covers the full Greenway that loops around Letchworth Garden City and will take us along wide fields and through wooded areas and provides some great views. There are a few ups and downs, but we will take it steady and pause for a breather and a drink as needed.

The route will be on a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces, mostly off road free of motorised traffic. There are a few sections on local roads.

We will stop for a breather and a drink/snack along the way. The plan is to stop at Nourish café during the ride.

Please wear a helmet to join this ride. Please bring tools to fix a puncture (spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and necessary tools to remove your wheel). You may want to bring a drink and a snack and a waterproof jacket. Please do not ride if you feel unwell. This ride is not suitable for a bike with slick or narrow tyres, some parts may be a little muddy and there is some loose gravel.
