Heading up the Thornhill trail from Mytham Bridge, we will take the path around Ladybower then briefly join the road until we cross Ashopton Viaduct, where we again join a trail up to Fairholmes Visitor Centre. From here we take the access road to the Kings’ Tree, and then rejoin the trail to Slippery Stones, continuing back along the trail to Ashopton Viaduct, then on to Bamford, and Mytham Bridge.
Cafe and toilet stops are possible at Fairholmes Visitor Centre and Bamford.
