Grantham - 1st Airborne Divisional Field Park (Royal Army Ordnance Corps)

Harrowby Lane, Grantham - Elements of 1st Airlanding Anti-tank Battery Royal Artillery and 2nd (Oban) Airlanding Anti-tank Battery Royal Artillery.

RAF Belton Park

RAF Barkston Heath - US 61st Troop Carrier Group - Flew parachute elements of Headquarters 1st Airborne Division and signals, Headquarters 1st Parachute Brigade, 1st Parachute Battalion, 1st Parachute Squadron Royal Engineers to Arnhem on 17th September 1944. Then elements of the US 82nd Airborne Division to Nijmegen on the 18th and 23rd September.

Caythorpe and Caythorpe Court - 1st Airborne Divisional Signals

Fulbeck - Headquarters 1st Airborne Division

RAF Fulbeck - temporary base for 313th Troop Carrier Group to fly elements of the US 82nd Airborne Division to Nijmegen on 17th, 18th and 23rd September 1944.

Stubton Hall - 1st Airborne Divisional Provost Company

Hungerton Hall - C Company, 2nd Parachute Battalion

Stoke Rockford Hall - Headquarters and S Company, 2 Parachute Battalion

RAF Saltby - US 314th Troop Carrier Group flew parachute elements of: 2nd Parachute Battalion, 3rd Parachute Battalion and 16 Parachute Field Ambulance to Arnhem on 17th September 1944; 11th Parachute Battalion, 156th Parachute Battalion and 133 Parachute Field Ambulance to Arnhem on 18th September; Headquarters 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade, 2nd Polish Parachute Battalion, 3rd Polish Parachute Battalion, and other Polish elements to Driel on 21st September.

Grimesthorpe Castle - Headquarters 1st Parachute Battalion (companies located in Bourne)

RAF Fulbeck - US 440th Troop Carrier Group - Flew elements of the US 82nd Airborne Division to Nijmegen on 17th, 18th and 23rd September 1944.

Culverthorpe - 16 Parachute Field Ambulance.
