Starting point

G73 5BT

Leaving from the Burnside Hotel, this route climbs quieter tarmac country roads through Carmunnock and Thorntonhall to Eaglesham. From there we head out to and up Ardochrig hill, before going off road onto gravel paths for about 10 miles as we pass thought Europe's largest onshore windfarm at Whitelee. We will stop at the Whitelee Cafe if it is open, before descending down the steep Ballageich Hill tarmac road back into Eaglesham, tracing our steps back to Burnside. Please bring a bike suitable for the terrain.
